THIRTEEN STRIKES: a new audio drama
Join Us! We are seeking a Co-Writer / Co-Creator
Are you a writer craving the spark of collaboration? Someone who'd enjoy strong creative input on a show about a paranormal investigation agency, while still taking cues from the rest of the cast and crew? Who would love to get to know a small group of invested creatives and breathe life into a world of magic and mystery?Thirteen Strikes is waiting for you.The core of this role is to help the showrunner (that's me!) in both writing and developing the narrative direction of the show. This feedback will also help determine what crew members and cast are necessary. I have strong ideas, but have left room for you to bring your own ideas and flavor. In addition to developing worldbuilding, writing episodes (four or five of the thirteen thirty-minute episodes of season one), and writing some small bonus content (around five minutes each), I'll also be asking you to get involved with casting, including helping me write casting calls, reviewing auditions, and possibly coming to recording sessions. Please note that Thirteen Strikes is currently unfunded, so for this position, we are running on a profit-sharing model. This call closes on Monday, December 9th.
About Thirteen Strikes'Thirteen Strikes' is the working title for an audio drama about two old friends, dragged into the secret world of paranormal investigation as the last resort for desperate clients. With elements of hopepunk, found family, and the "monster of the week" trope, the goal is for the show to be fun, hopeful, and thinky-action-packed with a side of mystery, dread and horror.Thirteen Strikes is designed to have a thirteen-episode standalone first season, with the ability to extend to future seasons.

About the ShowrunnerI've wanted to make an audio drama since before they existed. As a kid and a young adult, I loved radio plays. When I discovered TMA, I was hooked—audio dramas are very probably my favorite form of media. But I've only just decided to take the plunge and create my own.By day, I work in digital literacy and tech lending in higher ed. By night, I'm a storyteller and artist. My writing work history includes an unpublished collection of short fantasy and sci-fi stories and a self-published sci-fi novel. Professionally, I have a proven track record in project management, event planning, and operations management.
